Safety is of utmost importance to the Hazen City Busing Public Transportation Service. We ask that passengers help us by following a few rules.
HAZEN CITY BUSING PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION SERVICE TITLE VI AND NON-DISCRIMINATION POLICY STATEMENT The Hazen City Busing Public Transportation Service is committed to compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Civil Rights Restoration Act of 1987, and all related regulations and statutes. The Hazen City Busing Public Transportation Service assures that no person or group(s) of persons shall, on the grounds of race, color, sex, age, national origin, disability/handicap, and income status, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be otherwise subjected to discrimination under any and all programs, services, or activities administered by the Hazen City Busing Public Transportation Service, regardless of whether those programs and activities are federally funded or not. The Hazen City Busing Public Transportation Service also assures that every effort will be made to prevent discrimination through the impacts of its programs, policies, and activities on minority and low-income populations. In addition, the Hazen City Busing Public Transportation Service will provide meaningful access to services for persons with Limited English Proficiency. In the event the Hazen City Busing Public Transportation Service distributes federal-aid funds to a sub recipient, the Hazen City Busing Public Transportation Service will include Title VI language in all written agreements and will monitor for compliance. The Hazen City Busing Public Transportation Service’s Title VI Coordinator (Sandra Bohrer, Hazen City Auditor, 748-2250, hazennd@westriv.com) is responsible for initiating and monitoring Title VI activities, preparing reports and other responsibilities as required by 23 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 200 and 49 CFR 21.
