Community Buildings
The Hazen City Hall has small and large banquet and meeting rooms and a full kitchen. It is available for community and private events. The city of Hazen, Hazen Community Development, Hazen Parks and Recreation and Hazen Chamber of Commerce offices are located in the City Hall. Call 701-748-2550 for rental information.

The Hazen Public Library is located in the old depot building on East Main Street in Hazen. The hours are 9 am-6pm MT Monday through Friday. Public internet access is available. Story hour is held weekly. For more information call 748-2977 or e-mail.

The All-Seasons Arena is a 110’x200’ multipurpose building used for hockey, skating, dances, auctions and other civic social events. Call 701-748-2948 for rental information.

Education
The mission of the Hazen Public School is to teach students to become lifelong learners by providing educational opportunities in a safe and caring environment. Enrollment of approximately 650 students and 82 staff members with the Hazen Public Schools and 23 staff members with Oliver-Mercer Special Education comprise the Hazen School system.

Sakakawea Medical Center offers a full range of acute care services, home health care, hospice and community education/wellness. The hospital is trauma level IV designated and offers 24-hour emergency care. Senior Suites is a basic care facility adjacent to Sakakawea Medical Center. It accommodates 34 residents with single and double rooms. Senior Suites is available to the senior population that requires a minimal amount of supervision, but do not require 24 hour services. Call 701-748-2290 for more information.

Transportation
Hazen Busing provides curb to curb transportation in the City Monday through Friday. Transportation to Bismarck is offered bi-monthly and for special events and trips to area attractions occasionally. Call 701-880-3167 for more information.

The Mercer County Regional Airport is located one mile east of Hazen along Highway 200. It provides facilities for private jet or airplane travelers. The terminal has a meeting room, pilot’s lounge and sleeping room with shower. Courtesy transportation within the area is available.

The closest commercial airport is in Bismarck, ND just over an hour to the southeast of Hazen.
