The City of Hazen is governed under the Commission form of government with an elected Commission President and four (4) Commissioners, elected at-large.  The commissioners are assigned portfolios to assist in the overall supervision of the various city departments and staff.  The City Commission meets regularly the first and third Monday of the each month in the commission room of Hazen City Hall.  Meeting agendas are generally posted to the website by 5:00 PM CT the Friday preceding the meeting.  For more information or to be placed on the regular meeting agenda please contact the city auditor (701-748-2550 or by noon, the Friday preceding the regular meeting.
